Better Biscuit Mixes

While we have been selling our biscuit mixes (both regular and gluten-free), we recently updated the packaging in time for holiday gift giving. Whether you want to make some easy biscuits for your family one morning over the holidays, or you are looking for the perfect gift for your favorite food-lover, check these out!

You can pick them up at Pike Place Market or West Seattle this weekend, buy them at Seven Coffee Roasters in Ravenna, or you can order them online. You can select local pick up and we can arrange pick-up or delivery. If you want them shipped, select that and we will refund part of the shipping cost.

Also, we have added extra instructions on this here website. See them up there? Since we can only put so many instructions on a little sticker on the biscuit carton, we put the extended play version up here to help along those who are looking for more precise information. Enjoy!

Holiday Season

Biscuits are a great addition to any holiday dinner. This time of year, we are only at two markets, Pike Place Market on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (9 to 4 - though we often sell out earlier), and West Seattle Farmers Market on Sundays (10 to 2). If you want a dozen or more, we can deliver them to your work or home in Seattle. Just contact us.

New Online Store

Things change often in the world of new technology. The company that hosted our previous online store has gone away. We have a spiffy new store with Square Market. While that does not put the store on our actual website, it is still super easy to use.

The only issue that we were not able to fix was shipping on local orders and orders of multiple products. Right now it adds full shipping on each item ordered. If we can get it to you cheaper, we will refund some of your money. We have no mark-up on the shipping, but have to ship overnight to preserve freshness. Order away, biscuit lovers!

Get Out Your Irish Dancing Gear

Because St. Patrick's Day is almost here. That means that we are now making and selling the Kilt Biscuit again. This massive biscuit contains local Market House corned beef that we have cooked for more than five hours. The biscuits also contain Off Kilter Cheese from Mt Townsend Creamery. This cheese is washed in Pike Brewing Kilt Lifter Ale, so we toss some of that beer in the biscuits too. We finish them off with organic green onion and horseradish. Whether you are just fighting off the cold and damp of March in the Northwest, or fortifying your stomach for a night of drinking, this hearty biscuit is the one for you. It is only available until March 17 at the Broadway and West Seattle farmers markets or email us for a special order.

12th Man Biscuit

We are as excited as everyone else in Seattle about the Seahawks playoff run.  In their honor, we present the Pigskin Biscuit. Based upon a traditional football snack, it is like a potato skin in biscuit form. We start with Bavarian Meats bacon and Beecher's flagship cheese and add Olsen Farms organic potatoes, sour cream, and green onions.  Yum, right?

During the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl this special biscuit will replace the MacGregor Biscuit at the markets on Sunday.  They can also be special ordered.  If you want MacGregors, you will have to go to Bird on a Wire Espresso in West Seattle or Seven Coffee and Market in Ravenna.  Go Seahawks!
